I hope Leigh learns from our experience. It started out delightfully and we had several problems that did NOT relate to Northstar Mortgage Group. That being said it was a NIGHTMARE to close. They assured us that we could close by a certain date and time, they only reviewed our documents the day before, so when they found problems it delayed everything even though we had scheduled movers and such for the closing time we were assured could happen. They couldn't be bothered to show up to closing and only let us know our closing costs 35 minutes before we were set to close. I truly hope no one EVER has the same experience that my husband and I had. I also hope that Leigh has learned several things, not only about how to properly do this job, but also to not write checks with their mouth that they cannot cash.

Kate was incredibly patient, helpful, thoughtful, and kind throughout the process (it was our first mortgage so we sure had a lot of questions and things to learn!). Brian and Kara are probably the best team a new home buyer could ever ask for. All of my concerns were resolved immediately and a lot of that involves work behind the scenes from them. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Brian and Kara. They were extremely helpful, professional and very friendly. They made the home loan process very easy especially since this is my first time buying a home and whenever I had questions they were there. My husband and I recently refinanced our house with Northstar and to say Haley was amazing is an understatement! She was always so prompt to answer any questions I had no matter how silly, no matter the time of day, even replying when she was out of the office getting ready for her wedding! She was so helpful through the whole process, especially when we had a couple obstacles to overcome. I would one hundred times over recommend Northstar to anyone I know looking to buy or refinance.

Working with Leigh and Northstar Mortgage was a fantastic experience. Leigh made the process very easy, especially with all the online tools. Leigh and her team were always quick to respond to emails and very encouraging in a stressful market. We held my closing at the Northstar Mortgage office, and all I can say is WOW. The decor and ambience of the office made for a pleasurable experience. Everything is so bright and open! I have bought and sold 4 houses in the last 6 years, and this has to been hands down the most seamless and smoothest transaction!
