I hope Leigh learns from our experience. It started out delightfully and we had several problems that did NOT relate to Northstar Mortgage Group. That being said it was a NIGHTMARE to close. They assured us that we could close by a certain date and time, they only reviewed our documents the day before, so when they found problems it delayed everything even though we had scheduled movers and such for the closing time we were assured could happen. They couldn't be bothered to show up to closing and only let us know our closing costs 35 minutes before we were set to close. I truly hope no one EVER has the same experience that my husband and I had. I also hope that Leigh has learned several things, not only about how to properly do this job, but also to not write checks with their mouth that they cannot cash.

We could not be happier with our experience with Northstar Mortgage. Kate was incredibly patient, helpful, thoughtful, and kind throughout the process (it was our first mortgage so we sure had a lot of questions and things to learn!). We first purchased our home through Northstar Mortgage. I don't know how she did it, but Leigh was able to secure financing for us to buy our dream home.
5 years later, we refinanced to do some improvements. They were fast, friendly and knowledgeable. Leigh answered my questions even while recovering from Covid.
When we were out of town for the closing date, Leigh knocked it out of the park by sending a travelling notary to our resort in Myrtle Beach.

Thorough and consistent without being pushy. Purchasing a home requires follow-up and I never felt like too much was expected of me.
